Surf trip to Garie Beach
The other day, we were heading to Garie Beach in the Royal National Park. It is a 45min car drive south of Sydney.

Garie Beach, we had awesome crystal waves, about 4 to 5 ft with - happy days! (Don't know what that odd green thing is doing in the picture)

NYE
I was pretty much working the whole night in my bloody restaurant, which made me having to watch the fireworks from a rather bad spot and continuing working lateron till 2am in the night. On the other hand though, we were allowed to get free drinks, which I took as an opportunity to get pissed haha...
When I got home around 5am, we straight went to the beach to watch the sun rise the first time in the year. I took my board of course. So, as the only person out there, it gave me the priviledge of becoming the first person ever who rode waves at Maroubra Beach in 2009 - what a honor ey!
Chilling at the pool the whole day.
Leifu our cat wasn't missing. Couching for a delicious piece of meat. +++REST IN PEACE NOW, MY ONE AND ONLY BELOVED CAT+++
Eventually, this beautiful day had to be finished at a beautiful place - our beach.

XMAS in Maroubra
We had an awesome xmas under the Australian sun. Here the big day is on the 25th though. Everybody got excited in the morning and after a nice surf we popped the first beers (and didn't stop til 2am next morning).
Then we threw on the BBQ and chucked on some juicy steaks.
After heaps of food and beers we were heading to the beach.
Back in the house it was time to unwrap the presents and drink more.
Chilling out at the pool. by this time nobody wanted to jump in (I wonder why) - check out the healthy color
And back to the beach again - can't help it haha. A surf life guards nightmare. 3 totally pissed retards swimming in the rip far away from the flag area - having a lot of fun
